RTW planned---but am I budgeting this right?
Hi all,I'm a 20 year old college student (with an ISIC card) who is taking a year off to do an RTW trip. I would REALLY like to be gone for 10-11 months but I have a limited budget. I also would like this to be more or less a veritable "world" tour but I am not going to Australia (or Antarctica, for that matter). Next May, I am travelling to Thailand (1-2 months) - OZ (3 months) - (possibly) NZ - (possibly) Fiji - HomeI am looking at taking about £3000 ($6000 us) with me, would this be enough?I will be staying in hostels/guesthouses along the way and I will be getting a working holiday visa for Oz so if money starts running short I will be able to do some work and stay. Trouble booking with Oneworld Explorer RTW!!!
Help!!! We are having a lot of trouble trying to book a Oneworld Explorer RTW ticket. We live in Canada and have carefully read the Oneworld Explorer rule sheet when travel originates in a country for which a specific local currency fare is published and the ticket is sold in another country, the fare will be that published for the country of origin converted to the currency of the country of sale at the bank selling rate. ... Do RTW flights expire after 1 Year?
